FCC Concesiones increases its income by more than 26% in 2024

FCC Concesiones has increased its revenues by more than 26% in the 2024 financial year, compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching 77.8 million euros in the period. This increase is mainly attributed to the increase in road and rail traffic, which has boosted the revenues of Auconsa and Tranvía de Murcia. Likewise, the entry into consolidation of the Parla Tramway concession, following the acquisition of the entire share capital in the second quarter of the year, has strengthened this performance. By geographical area, most of the revenue is concentrated in Spain, reaching 70.6 million euros, 22.4% more than in 2023.

FCC Concesiones contributed 3.9% to the FCC Group's EBITDA in 2024. Gross operating profit reached 55.4 million euros, an increase of 21.2% compared to 2023. The operating margin stood at 71.2% in 2024.

The net operating profit reached 79.3 million euros. It is worth noting the positive impact of variations in the scope of consolidation of the area of various concessions, as is the case of the Parla Tramway this year with a result of 41.2 million euros.

Net financial debt has been reduced to zero in 2024. This is due to the fact that in December several capital and debt amortisation operations were carried out in order to reorganise and reinforce the structure and financial capacity of the concession companies and the head of the area, FCC Concesiones.
